We are delighted to be hosting an online evening event on 3 October. We will bring you the latest news on what’s happening to our brothers and sisters in Syria, Nigeria and China through interviews with church leaders and footage direct from our partners around the world.
So, join us on Saturday 3 October as we pray, learn and worship together with our persecuted family and find out how their courageous faith can strengthen us all.
You’re invited to meet those who dare to follow Jesus no matter the cost.
Standing Strong is a celebration of all that God is doing in and through His church around the world, thanks to your prayers and support. This is a unique opportunity to hear speakers from Asia and the Middle East about how Christians in those countries are courageously following Jesus, despite the dark and dangerous reality of persecution they face.
At Standing Strong, join with hundreds of others in worship and prayer and find out how you can support your persecuted family. Learn more about the dangers, risks and joys that being faithful to Jesus brings and the work Open Doors is doing to support those whose faith costs them the most.
An all-day children’s programme for ages 5-11 and optional youth sessions for ages 12-15 are available at Birmingham only.

Standing Strong has been postponed in light of the uncertainty around the safety and viability both of mass gatherings and of international travel due to Covid-19. We believe that the health and safety of our supporters and international partners is our highest priority, and although it is sad that we will not gather as planned this year, and we appreciate that many will be disappointed, we believe this the best decision to take in terms of Covid-19 restrictions, safety, and the stewarding of our resources.
We are planning to do something online this year and will let you know as our plans take shape. We hope you will be able to join us online in the autumn and that you continue to be inspired and encouraged through the resources we are able to provide you with.
All tickets, whether they are individual, group, children, youth or family tickets, will be transferred to their corresponding events for 2021. Sales for these events will resume this month. There are no extra fees to pay.
Yes, if you purchased a lunch ticket, this will also be transferred.
For all Scotland and Ireland events, please request a refund via your Eventbrite account. Please follow the link here for details on how to do this.
For the England event, which was due to take place at Arena Birmingham, if you booked online then you will need to request a refund via your Ticket Factory account. You can contact Ticket Factory and request a refund via the form saved here. Ticket Factory will also contact you directly via email.

If you have any difficulties with this, or if you have any further questions, please email us at inspire@opendoorsuk.org or call us on 01993 460015.
You can request a refund for those tickets that are affected rather than your whole order. Please see refund instructions on how to do that.
No – unfortunately administrative complications mean that donating your ticket is not possible.
Though we hope to offer the same speakers, we can’t at present confirm that.
If you would like more information about the impact of Covid-19 on the work of Open Doors, please visit the Covid-19 page.
Your support helps persecuted Christians continue to courageously follow Jesus.
Together, we can reach those where persecution hits hardest.
